Contained in this article is my original 8mm movie converted

from Video Cassette into a DVD

This film was made after the USS Guide MSO 447 arrived In Yokouska Japan after leaving Longbeach Ca. in 1961.  The original 8mm film is 58 years old

I had the original 8mm film converted to Video Cassetts in 2000 to give out to 25 of my shipmates at the first USS Guide MSO 447 Reunion.  At the Reunion I also gave everyone a flyover picture of the Guide at sea and I had everyone autograph the photo for me.  The flyover photo can be seen if you click on the Photos Menu link and select Reunion 2000 Signed Ships Photo.
